Dear Resident Student,

In response to the overall smart decision-making and display of behaviors that comply with our stated policies and guidelines, we are updating our resident guest policy to remove the restriction that only guests from within the same area are allowed.

Therefore, effective today, each resident is permitted to host one guest in their room/apartment from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. if the guest currently resides anywhere in on-campus housing. Students who live off campus are still not allowed entry into our residential spaces.

The building doors will remain locked, so guests from other buildings must be provided access by the hosting resident. As with all guests, they must be escorted throughout the building at all times.

Our policy that overnight guests are not allowed will remain in effect, and guests from other buildings are expected to be back in their assigned space by 10 p.m. The 11 p.m. campus curfew also remains in effect.
