Dear University of Miami Community,
It is with great sadness that we write to inform you of the sudden passing of Stacy Glaspy, a freshman majoring in biology in the College of Arts and Sciences. Stacy was a pre-med student. She passed away Thursday, Nov. 19. Her death was not related to COVID-19.
From Eucild, Ohio, Stacy was a smart and witty young woman with a strong sense of self. She enrolled at Miami after graduating from the Cleveland School of Science and Medicine. Stacy stood out with her confident demeanor and willingness to be bold. She was mature beyond her years and was ambitious about the future.
Her passing is a tremendous loss. We extend our deepest condolences to Stacy’s family and friends. We will continue to provide support and care for her family, classmates, and the University community as we grieve.
If you or anyone you know needs help, please do not hesitate to reach out.
