Dear ’Canes,
As we approach the end of a year that has been challenging for many, I am grateful for the dedication and perseverance of the University of Miami community. I have witnessed incredible acts of kindness and bravery by those facing adversity and I am humbled by each of you who continue to make the U a place where we all belong.
As ’Canes we know that it requires teamwork to make the University thrive and it takes the same commitment to make changes in our community. For over 40 years, the University of Miami has supported the United Way to create meaningful change throughout South Florida and this year your help is needed more than ever.
As chair of this year’s campaign, I ask that you join me in supporting the United Way to help fund solutions for the Miami-Dade community in need.
