Dear Students,
Beginning this week, you will receive notification of your on-campus COVID-19 test results both from the University (via email) and the Florida Department of Health (via text message). Testing results will be provided to you as soon as they are available, which means you may receive your results after hours.
If you receive a positive test result:
-
Student Health Service will contact you. Students who receive a positive result after 9 p.m. will be contacted the following morning.
-
Please be sure to self-isolate as best as possible in the interim.
-
If you are not contacted by Student Health Service the following day, please call them directly at 305-284-8210 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. or Saturdays and Sundays between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
-
For after-hours assistance with urgent situations, call 305-284-9100. For medical emergencies, dial 911.
If you receive a negative test result:
-
No further action is required.
-
Please continue to follow the weekly on-campus testing requirements, as well as the mandated University safety practices of mask wearing, physical distancing, and hand hygiene.
