Dear Undergraduate Students,
Welcome to the Spring 2021 semester. The dreaded coronavirus is still among us but not deterring us from learning together and from each other.
I wanted to remind you that in my capacity as dean of undergraduate affairs, everything that concerns your learning, classroom experience, and growth falls under my purview. In particular, I’m directly responsible for undergraduate education, academic enhancement, undergraduate research and community outreach, study abroad, civic and community engagement, the University Registrar, and the Toppel Career Center.
I would like to remind you that I’m happy and eager to hear from you. I would appreciate hearing more about your academic experience and ways we can improve faculty-student mentorship, academic and career planning, and involvement with research. I have virtual office hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m. Thank you.
