University of Miami Faculty and Staff Members,
The University of Miami continues to work to vaccinate its faculty and staff against COVID-19 based on the vaccine supply. Fortunately, vaccine availability from the state is increasing, though doses are limited. If you have already opted in for a COVID-19 vaccine, many of you will receive an email invitation to schedule your vaccine by the end of this week. This applies to all University employees who opted in for the vaccine through Workday.
If you did not previously opt in but would like to do so now, please visit Workday to make your declaration. Within Workday, select “COVID-19 Phases and Vaccine Opt-In” and follow the on-screen prompts.
Be sure to keep an eye on the email associated with your MyUHealthChart account. Check all your email folders, including your junk mail, for an email from MyUHealthChart@med.miami.edu with the subject line “UHealth - Schedule for COVID Vaccine” with directions on how to schedule your appointment.
We are continuing to sequentially work through our vaccine qualification phases and expect to contact everyone who opted in by the end of this week. If you have questions, please email UMCovidVaccineInfo@miami.edu. We will support vaccination of as many individuals as possible based on limited supplies. |
