To the University of Miami Community,
We have a limited amount of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) COVID-19 vaccine available to distribute on the Coral Gables Campus and are now scheduling appointments for students, faculty, and staff.
If you already opted in to receive the vaccine from UHealth, please log into your MyUHealthChart account to schedule your appointment. If you have not opted in, faculty and staff should do so through Workday; students should opt in through
’CaneLink
. Once you’ve opted in, please allow 24 hours to process and then go into your MyUHealthChart account to schedule.
We will be scheduling vaccine appointments at the Herbert Wellness Center during the following days and times:
Thursday, April 29: 10 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 6: 7 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Please take action to schedule your vaccine appointment as quickly as possible. We will only be able to schedule vaccine appointments for the limited supply we currently have on hand.
All students, faculty, and staff will need to bring a government-issued ID or their ’Cane Card and have completed the daily symptom checker before arriving on campus.
For remote learning students: Students enrolled in remote learning during the Spring 2021 semester will be required to test for COVID-19 prior to their on-campus vaccine appointment and should plan to arrive to the on-campus testing location at Lakeside Village at least 45 minutes before their scheduled vaccine appointment. The testing center is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
