For more than two years, we have diligently worked together to protect ourselves and each other throughout a global pandemic. Our vigilance in adhering to protocols has been the foundation to our long-term success, and staying up to date with vaccinations has played a large part in safeguarding the health of our University of Miami community.
For those reasons, all students, faculty, and staff on all campuses will again be required to receive the seasonal flu vaccine this fall. The flu shot remains an important requirement to ensure the well-being of our community.
Each year’s flu season is different and can affect people in a variety of ways. The flu vaccine is imperative as we work together to avoid unnecessary transmission, illness, and potential hospitalizations.
Flu vaccines are available now by appointment. Additional information, including flu shot locations, exemption details, and answers to frequently asked questions can be found here.
Please continue to work together to stay safe and healthy.
