It is an honor to serve as co-chairs of the TeamUM 2022 United Way Miami campaign. As one of the largest employers in South Florida, the success of our campaign is vital to our community.
The past few years have been challenging for everyone. This is where United Way Miami focuses its resources and its work. By joining together with our colleagues, we can help support those with the greatest need. Every contribution will make a difference.
For the first time three years, we will engage ambassadors from across the University to help support the campaign. Your leadership and that of the ambassadors will be integral in helping us support our community.
Please confirm an ambassador to lead the campaign in your unit. The most successful ambassadors are charismatic, reliable, well organized, and creative. If you have more than 80 employees in your area, please consider choosing more than one ambassador, as a team approach can make it more manageable.
To nominate your unit’s ambassador, please send an email to unitedway@miami.edu with the name(s) and contact information of your ambassador(s) by Friday, Sept. 16. Ambassadors will be required to attend virtual training sessions later this month. Additional details will be forwarded to the ambassadors.
