We all choose to give back to our communities in various ways. Our longstanding partnership with United Way Miami allows us to directly impact the lives of the most vulnerable within our communities.
Today, as we launch the 2022 TeamUM United Way campaign, we ask you to consider joining us in whatever way you can to build a strong Miami—together. Below are three ways you can give back.
Give Your gift is a powerful investment in Miami. While all gifts are important, an unrestricted contribution to United Way Miami has the greatest impact. You also have the opportunity to designate your gift to the community organization of your choice, including giving back to the University. You may choose multiple recipients for your gift in the portal. Those who opted to roll-over their gifts do not need to take any action at this time. Give now.
Volunteer For the first time in three years, we are seeking volunteer campaign ambassadors to work with us across the organization to help fundraise through events and other activities. If you are interested in giving back through your time and creativity, please send an email to unitedway@miami.edu by Monday, Sept. 26.
Join Did you know that United Way Miami provides participants with opportunities to connect and network with other community-minded people? From young leaders to Women United, there are various opportunities available. Learn more.
We recognize that charitable giving is a personal decision and that your participation in the United Way Miami campaign is optional. We appreciate the generous contributions made last year, and encourage all faculty and staff members to consider participating in the 2022 TeamUM United Way campaign.
