Dear University Community,
Confirming earlier news reports, the Atlantic Coast Conference has announced the addition of Southern Methodist University, Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, beginning in July 2024.
We join our ACC brethren in welcoming all three institutions to the ACC. They are all outstanding institutions -- located in our country’s two most populous states – and will enhance our conference’s academic reputation, competitive excellence, financial strength and geographic footprint.
Additional information will be announced in the weeks and months ahead. In the meantime, please join me in welcoming California, SMU and Stanford to the ACC.
