Below, for your reference, is the full text of President Julio Frenk’s video message (above) to the University of Miami community.
Greetings,
Earlier this year, as part of the Powered By You engagement program, you were invited to complete a voluntary and confidential faculty and staff survey from a third-party research organization called Perceptyx.
Your participation was essential for our success, and I am excited to share that 74% of our workforce shared their valuable feedback and opinions, and the results are in!
To those who participated, thank you for sharing your collective thoughts. To those who chose not to, it is my mission to build trust in this process and I look forward to your participation in the future.
The Powered By You engagement program is all about YOU, and our efforts to continuously improve your experience at the U.
The process of asking for feedback from you only works if we do three things well:

We must transparently share the results with you and keep you informed throughout the process,

We need to act on your feedback,
-
We must monitor the outcomes of our collective actions by measuring progress.
The overall organizational results will be posted online for all faculty and staff to see in the coming days on the Powered By You website.
All faculty and staff are encouraged to engage in the planning and continuous improvement process stemming from the survey. We all play a part in helping the U shine, so based on the results particular to your areas, action plans will be developed and implemented.
My expectation is that over the next year, we make progress on the areas with room for improvement, we maintain high marks in the areas we did well in, and that we continue to earn your trust throughout this process.
I would like to keep the lines of communication open and encourage you to reach out if you have ideas, suggestions, or feedback.
More information specific to the faculty and staff survey, including training and the action planning process will be shared soon.
