Brandon Gilliland, vice president and chief financial officer at the University of Miami, has announced that he will be leaving at the end of the year to return home to Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
Brandon’s last day will be Dec. 31.
Before joining the University of Miami in December 2017, Brandon was the vice president for finance at Wake Forest University, where he served in financial leadership roles for more than a decade. He will now hold the position of senior vice president for finance and administration at Wake Forest.
We thank Brandon for his years of service to the University of Miami. We wish Brandon and his family a safe return back to North Carolina.
The University of Miami has begun a national search for a world-class finance leader. In the interim period, Ray Coto, vice president and chief financial officer at UHealth, will lead a transition team that will oversee the Division of Financial Affairs.
