Dear Faculty,
A fundamental objective of the Office of the Provost is to recognize the extraordinary talent of our faculty. Talented faculty are key to our institution’s success, and meaningfully recognizing exceptional faculty is critical to amplifying excellence across the U. I am excited to announce that nominations for this year’s Provost’s Awards are now open.
The Provost’s Awards for Faculty Excellence and Impact honor exceptional faculty achievement across the wide spectrum of faculty activity, from early career excellence to outstanding achievement in the creative disciplines. We encourage nominations from faculty who wish to recognize and reward a colleague for their excellence and impact at the U and beyond.
The Teaching Awards exemplify the U’s commitment to supporting and recognizing exemplary teaching. Faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows, and undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to nominate esteemed faculty to be recognized for their notable impact through exemplary pedagogy.

Nominations are due by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2024.

Finalists and awardees will be celebrated at a reception on April 23, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Coral Gables Campus. All finalists, their nominator, chair, dean, and a guest will be invited to attend. Please save the date!
