Dear Students,

Our Centennial Celebration is just one day away! To honor our 100th birthday on Tuesday, April 8, we will have a Canes Carnival on the Foote Green, Centennial Block Party along Miller Circle, and a spectacular concert and fireworks show at the Lakeside Patio. Participation is free and open to all students, faculty and staff members, and community members.

To ensure that everyone in our community can participate as well as not have their learning disrupted, classes taking place on the Coral Gables and Marine Campuses on Tuesday, April 8 that meet after 5 p.m. are cancelled. Classes will resume as scheduled on Wednesday, April 9.

Instructors may add out-of-class readings or assignments to the syllabus to ensure the course meets the minimum federal credit hour requirements as described in the Academic Bulletin.

This will be a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of everything Miami Hurricanes! It will be even better with you present wearing your orange and green.
